The venue is the guesthouse Monskwell Manor near London. We can hear children's song Three Blind Mice and then a woman's scream announcing that a murder was comitted.
The venue is the guesthouse Monskwell Manor near London. We can hear children's song Three Blind Mice and then a woman's scream announcing that a murder was comitted. The guesthouse is full of people and we gradually learn that the murderer has come here to settle bills for a childhood injustice. The house gets covered by snow and the tension is high. Anybody could be murderer or victim. The witty saying by the Queen of detective stories, Agatha Christie, that 'a game is something between a crossword puzzle and a manhunt' also applies to The Mousetrap. The London production of The Mousetrap has reached whopping 8,000 reruns.
